The Colorado Road Conditions (Cdot) for the weekend of October 10th and 11th will be mixed with the department telling motorists to take it easy as the weather is going to be mixed in many areas as well.

The Cdot website is currently down at the time of publication

The weather in Northwest Colorado will be a mix of storms before giving way to clear skys by Sunday night and Monday morning. However, a series of storms are hot on the heels of this weather that will hit Colorado from the Pacific Northwest.

It should be breezy and possibly rainy for today’s 2 p.m. Steamboat Springs High School homecoming parade along Oak and Pine streets. The same conditions are expected to hold true for the 7 p.m. Steamboat Springs football game against Rifle.

Oak Creek is expected to get much the same in the way of weather, with a 40 percent chance of rain and a low of about 25 degrees.

Higher elevations should see snow tonight, with Saturday's high in the low to mid 40s with a 30 percent chance of rain in the lower areas.

We had 5"+ out on the plains of Nebraski.  26° at 7:00 am.

Looked like winter, felt like winter.

Makes you long for the return of Global Warming.
