Copenhagen - The Peoples of the Forest Solutions

While in Manaus - in the Brazilian Amazon - (Nov 2009) for the FIAM 2009 show I learned about the Copenhagen Climate Council summit.

"On December 12, the Copenhagen Climate Council will bring together business leaders from around the world at Hamlet's Kronborg Castle to help kick-start the low-carbon revolution." We read in their website.

Things are not working out yet we all know. The Copenhagen meeting main objective is to discuss measures for decreasing carbon dioxide emissions world wide.

Photojournalist Cornell Evers definitely wants give voice to the peoples of the forest - those who do not have access, or worse, are silenced by the lack of attention from major media or the state. 

 Mr. Evers then was preparing a photo exhibition about the solutions that people living in the rain forest could offer to the world for preventing climate change. In the video here you can hear directly from him.
