The biggest blizzard in 7 years is falling on Washington. These photos were taken around 9 this morning. Three hours later, and we have much greater accumulations with probably another six hours of snowfall ahead of us. This is huge, the biggest December snowfall in Washington's history. We've just gotten notice that Metro is ceasing above-ground operations and Reagan National Airport is closed.
