Dangerous Hit n' Run Driver watched by Internet viewers, caught
ONTARIO
An unnamed BMW motorist in Canada has been an 'internet sensation' because she dangerously drove over two cars in a parking lot and then did a sneaky hit and run, under CCTV. This woman clearly wanted to 'get away with it'
Despite the fact that the woman could have injured or killed someone in the parking lot, according to the report the motorist who had smashed these cars was just charged with a hit and run. It was extremely luckly that no one else was killed, she would still try and do a runner no doubt.
I wonder what her insurance company makes of this. Would they want her on their books? Good drivers, will properly get higher premiums now too because of drivers like her.
Drivers are expected to drive safely after passing their test and should know the difference between the brake and clutch.
This incident looks as if this is 'only an accident' - "oh fiddlesticks, silly ol' me". This is just not good enough. It is a dangerous and incompetent. This type of accident is more 'appropriate' if it was a learner driver as they will 'make mistakes'. This driver should know better, surely this isn't the only car parking lot she has ever used.
Her car should be compounded or crushed immediately by the police, no matter what condition it is in or how much a motorist 'whines', 'I want it for shopping, work, bingo, 'fwend's etc'. Tough. She ought to re-take her test or be banned for years. It could even be crushed and turned into a bicycle as a memento. And at the very least, she should be banned from that car parking lot entirely. It makes Canada look soft on such motorists. What will will foreign tourists think?
Bad drivers should be named and shamed. Too many penalty points just go on the driving licence and hardly anyone notices that they are bad drivers. Who wants one of those behind you and, in particular, this one.
"The video of a BMW X5 trying to park has spread like wildfire across the internet. Caught on CCTV, the BMW driver presses the throttle instead of the brake and shoots up and over the bonnets of two other parked cars.
.... the driver then reverses off of the two parked cars. Not only that, the BMW driver then makes off without even checking the damage to their own car, never mind the two innocently parked cars.

Canada is soft on criminal drivers. We have an incident on the west coast whereby a man was sentenced to six years in prison and a 16 year driving ban. Sounds harsh? He was street racing, the other car ended up off the road with five young men in it, four died at the scene. He took off. This fine citizen has had many many DUIs and serious driving offences. His lawyer says he will appeal. This is typical of the treatment and sentencing that criminal drivers get when they kill people in Canada.

Alberta is notorious for bad driving, especially Hwy 63 from Fort Mac to Edmonton. They have one investigator after fatal accidents. The poor guy is having burn out and is worried about PTSD. The other horrible is the 4 lane from Edmonton to Calgary. It.s like a racetrack. 110km/h (65 mph) isn.t fast enough for them. Even the doubling fines hasn't discouraged them.

Do they get penalty points in Canada? In the UK, if they reach 12 they are off the road. Then of course they still get in the car because 'they have to go to work'. As more and more cars are on the road, the dangers will get much worse.

Ah Bad drivers? One only has to drive downtown Richmond BC to experience the Asian Grand Prix any time of day.

Looks like she can't co-ordinate brake vs gas pedal. Woman like that shouldn't be allowed to drive anything but a sub compact AFTER she passes rigorous driving tests and earns her way out of Canada's Worst Driver.
I added the video 'cause not everyone has seen it.

Thanks. I thought I uploaded the video.... :-
Great that it is all on CCTV though. Who is she though?

Canadians are weak. Reading this story, it sounds like it was written by a 12-year-old who has never heard of crime before. The only reason Canada exists is because America defends it.
