Daryl Hannah Arrested at Protest for Anti-Mountain Top Removal

Actress Daryl Hannah and former West Virginia secretary of state Ken Hechler were among two dozen people arrested in West Virginia yesterday at a protest against anti-mountain top removal mining.

They were protesting for an end to the mining practice, that destroys the natural habitat.

Those arrested were charged with obstructing an officer and impeding traffic after sitting in the middle of a road in front of the Massey Energy's Goals Coal preparation plant.

She has been arrested before for being part of a protest in Los Angeles trying to save a community farm.
