Eagle Wisconsin Residents Are Still Facing Extensive Power Outages After a Tornado Hit the Wisconsin Area

Residents have been without power in Eagle Wi, and crews are working hard on Tuesday to restore it to the remaining 6,000 customers. Overnight the power was turned back on to about 19,000 homes, then more were connected this morning but the efforts are being hampered by downed trees and more storms are expected. It is hoped that all power will be restored by Tuesday night.

The power outage was so severe that even the 911 and non-emergency numbers were knocked offline.

"All of the calls are currently being answered by the St. Francis Police Department. For non-emergencies, area residents are asked to call the St. Francis non-emergency number at 414-481-2232," the department said.

This region has been battered by storms since last Friday and more heavy rain is expected.
