Earthquake Strikes Puebla, Near Mexico City
An earthquake measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale has struck just outside Puebla, just 85 miles from Mexico City.
The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake hit 19 miles southeast of Izucar, Puebla, Mexico.
Buildings are reported to have shaken in Mexico City itself; no word of any casualties at or near the epicenter.
This is the second large earthquake to strike the region in just over a month.
Whereas the USGS places the epicenter in Puebla, initial media reports placed the occurrence in Guerrero State.

The earthquake was in the Popocatepetl volcano.
Puebla and Guerrero are different States. The Popocatepetl is shared by 3 states: Puebla, Guerrero and Morelos.

I predict we are going to see more earthquakes, quite possibly a major one. China just had their anniversary of the quake that killed 90,000 people, and they are still trying to rebuild. How devastating when the Earth splits open like that? It reminds us how vulnerable we really are and money won't save us.
