I can whip one up! Iwas actually trying to upload them for the story on global warming but am having issues writing anything other than comments. Here are few interesting facts about Okinawa you might not be aware of! It is box jelly fish seasaon and swimming is resticted to coast guard regulated beaches, most of which are on the east side of the island, on the Pacific Coast, such as Okuma. Locals speculate the warmer water on the Pacific side is less welcoming than the west coast of Okinawa, which is the East China coast line of the island. Okinawa is entirely made of coral reef, even the sand and rock formations are present from this ancient living animal. The west coast is predominately coral reef beaches, but the east coast Pacific ocean is blessed with extremely small eroded and broken pieces of coral that resemble sand. Though this "sand" is more rough to the touch of one's feet thatn sand some where else in the world. Both sides, though geographically different share the same amount of beauty that makes Okinawa the paradise it is today!
