"Earth Hour 2009"-Edward Norton & Alanis Morissette

Edward Norton and Alanis Morissette appeared on Larry King Live last night to promote Earth Hour coming up on March 28 from 8:30pm to 9:30pm.

They wanted to promote the idea of turning out your lights for one hour to help the Earth and promote the issue of climate change. Norton explained to Larry:

that while the idea of turning out the lights is more a symbolic gesture, energy to power lightbulbs mostly comes from coal-burning power plants; which are a massive contributor to emissions.

I didn't even know about this Earth hour.  My lights were on but no one was home.
