Effects of oil spill on Mississippi Coast

Tweenty Sea turtles have washed up on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Although at this time officials can not confirm that the deaths are from the oil spill. The full story is below. As a side note, I have lived on the coast since 2005 and in five years I have seen only one turtle washed on shore.

Iam trying to find out if the Miss. coast is affected by oil spill, wondering is it safe to take the family to Biloxi for vacation, just wondering if it is safe to swim? Any info would be appreciated
