I have suspected underground Nuclear testing for earthquakes for years now and in the seas as well.
And this country has had it's history as well and who knows what was stimulated by such tests.
But there are other reasons for them as well I know and though most think this is loony tunes there is a possability of "space alien" and human underground mining and development as well.

Do you have any links? There seems to be some spoof stories about this on the web, and stories about China using Tibet as a test site and to dump nuclear waste. Maybe the Great Firewall of China goes both ways.

Hey polarlight2000 I found some things that didn't pass my sniff test. Could it be... fishy???
Rene's right. We need a link. Although a few blogs have muttered about conspiracies and a nuclear blast, I haven't yet been able to find any valid news stories about this. As with recent tsunamis, some bloggers have tried to twist things into conspiracies, like this one.

Yeah, but, Pep, there was some curious phenomena videotaped just before the quake.

And, polarlight2000 does have some inside photos out of China. He may have to protect his sources and himself.

Yea, but most of the weather photos reportedly linked to earthquakes are regarded as natural, right?
polarlight lives in Vancouver. Why would he have to protect himself? See, you were right all along--we need a link.

polarlight2000, I used to think this story was fishy but now, I'm not so sure anymore for these reasons.
After doing a second search, I did find a discussion forum where someone was postulating that maybe Tibetan terrorists smuggled a U.S.-built suitcase bomb into China to set off and cause an earthquake. Now, I'm not sure something like that is reliable, but here it is.

Oh, c'mon. that sounds like some kind of propaganda, fear-mongering to me. But it did occur to me that a Tibetan Mountain goddess might have gotten teed-off about the destruction and abuse in Tibet. Besides, this story is about the reports from a Chinese military medical rescue crew, undoubtedly highly censored.

Don't know about that.
In Chinatown. You don't think they have a long reach? But let's hear from polarlight himself.

'Beijing reins in media coverage.' 'The Chinese charge for medical care.' 'Quake victims will take legal action.' These are all stories found when googling 'Chinese media'. Just think what might happen if this story is true and the Chinese people find out.

I don't know how people can look at this as anything other than extremely fishy when there is absolutely no evidence or corroboration here. If "Chinese media" reported this, where's the original article? This is just a conspiracy theory.

Isn't this story of the rescue helicopter crash from that particular area curiously coincidental?
