Thanks for posting these photos Matt! I love the idea of crowd-sourced news & what NowPublic.com is trying to do. I agree that crowd-sourcing & the "social web" are definitely the trend we're heading towards.However, I wonder how you deal with linking to other relevant "verified" news articles? For example, I'm totally intrigued with this "explosion" in downtown, especially since I think I was a few blocks away when it happened. HOWEVER, because you have nothing linking to relevant "google news" articles (or other ones), I'm going to go to google news next and type in "vancouver downtown explosion" to see what other information I can get. Seems like an incomplete user experience?Perhaps in future iterations you will allow the "public" to add these verified links and then determine the relevance based on how many people click on it? Or, you could even take the keywords and type them into a google news search and have a box below? Just my two cents. But love what you're trying to do with NowPublic. I've heard alot about it from Leonard Brody!
