a Familiar Experience

Wyatt and I went on a little photogging adventure tonight. And, as has happened before, in the midst of an explosion of shutter sounds, someone is telling us we can't photograph what we're looking at. Sad times. I'm pretty sure this is a natural gas burn-off (Wyatt suggested) I saw the flames from a few blocks away, and Wyatt and I raced on our bikes across narrow, paved paths in the darkness. Battling moths and spiderwebs to reach our quarry. It was a great night!
