The Royal Bengal Tiger is revered around the world as is evident by the international effort to duplicate the look and "feel" of this great animal in a domestic variety cat, the Bengal. To beat a protected animal to death for an act the animal did not commit with conscious malice is beyond reason. Moving the tiger to a remote location or putting it down in a peaceful manner would have served the same purpose without needless and violent bloodshed.
