According to the Weather Channel, The Latitude of Faye is 23.2N and 81.2 W on the 18th of August 2008 at 8:00AM Miami Time with winds at 60 MPH per hour and a NNW [North North West Movement at 12 MPH. Faye is in the process of leaving Cuba and heading toward the Florida Keys. There is the possibility that it could affect Florida as a Category One Hurricane. The areas of Miami-Dade and Broward County are at the peripheral end of the projected cone. This means that Miami-Dade and Broward will receive the peripheral part of the cone with heavy rain and winds. The majority of South Florida and 66% of Cuba is under a Tropical Storm Warning.
