A 7.2 Earthquake Hit Fiji Early Friday, September 16, 2011. No Tsunami Warning Has Been Issued
A 7.2 earthquake occurred near Fiji in the early hours of September 16, 2011.
The September 16, 2011 Fiji earthquake registered approximately 7.2 in magnitude
According to the US Geological Survey, the Fiji quake was centred around 120 kilometres south-southwest of Ndoi Island at a depth of about 593 kilometres.
A tsunami warning has not been issued in the wake of the Fiji earthquake.

Bula(Hi in Fijian language)I live in Nadi, Fiji for 14 years but never experience earth quake.Of course I never know about this earth quake till my friend in Europe emailed and asked me.It happened very remote and far far away location.I think no one in Fiji felt quake this time but Seismometers.
