Fire Breaks Out in San Luis Obispo

Just north of the Tea fire in Santa Barbara, another fire has broken out in California. Homes have already started being evacuated. San Luis Obispo is located about an hour north of Santa Barbara.
UPDATE:
The 100-acre brush fire in the hills behind the 1300 block of El Cerrito in San Luis Obispo is slowing down. Fire crews have the fire at 50 percent containment.
No homes were damaged in the fire.
Full containment is expected by 8:00 p.m., the fire is expected to be completely out by 10:00 p.m. Saturday.
Although evacuations were being conducted for areas north of Southwood and east of Flora streets by the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Department, the orders were not mandatory.
The San Luis Obispo Police Department has authorized all residents to return to their homes in the evacuated areas.
The cause of the fire has been determined as arching powerlines, PG&E is working on correcting the problem.
High winds and low humidity are concerns for the fire crews.

A brush fire continues to burn in the hills behind the 1300 block of El Cerrito in San Luis Obispo.
As of 10:15 a.m. this morning, 200 firefighters, 25 engines, two air tankers, and six bulldozers are working on the fire. San Luis Obispo Cal Fire advises the fire is almost out.
The two air tankers were pulled from the Tea Fire in Montecito, they are filling up at a lake in Paso Robles.
The fire started about 8:30 a.m.
High winds and low humidity are concerns for the fire crews.
According to the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Department, they are going door to door on El Cerrito and surrounding hillside homes advising residents to evacuate.
John Madden, the San Luis Obispo City Fire Department said 50 acres have burned as of 9:45 a.m.
