Flamingos thriving in MUMBAI filth

Flamingoes in Mumbai.. do not die of pollution.....
they thrive on it...........Just like Mumbaites.
They are reported to be killed here only due to illegal poaching at one place and they gradually shifted their habitant towrads other area which is protected Nuclear site in Mumbai ..
Their numbers seems to be steady over the years...
Have they evolved ... enough to survive among the filth and pollution.....?
This is a picture story giving the evidence that Flamingos are thriving in MUMBAI filth. These pictures are taken in Mahul gaon creek in Mumbai last week, where sea is surronded from
from three sides. One side is concrete jungle, other side is a fishing village and on remaining side is situated a power plant and a refinery. Flamingoes are now  in the last leg of migration from MUMBAI to Rann of Kuch in GUJRAT for their breeding.

This is my first story...Till now I was only doing photography, but always wanted to do

more than photography...with wonderful response to this story...I got a direction

as to where my photography should go.

Many Thanks
