Four Amish Children Killed in Kentucky Flood
Amish Kids Swept Away When Horse-Drawn Buggy Overturned
Four Amish children were killed after being swept away in floodwaters when their horse-drawn carriage was tipped over. The children went missing at 8:30pm local time on February 24. Three of the Amish children were found just after midnight on February 25, and the fourth was found shortly thereafter. The children were between five months and 11 years old.
The horse-drawn buggy was carrying two adults and seven children, and was tipped over as rapid flooding swept through the community of Dublin in Graves County, Kentucky. The bodies of three of the children were found in nearby Hickman County, roughly 30 miles away. The names of the children have not been released.
