The German government has been fighting Monsanto to prevent the company from introducing a genetically modified seed into the country.
A German court on Tuesday rejected an attempt by the world's leading seed seller, Monsanto Co., to suspend a government ban of its genetically engineered MON810 corn, saying it may pose a risk to the environment.
The seed wards off bugs by producing toxins.
