Cody,
Thanks for the video. Our church mission group was hosted by the generous people of the Gilbert Presbyterian Church for three summers. I am so sorry that you all were hit so hard by this flood. Our prayers are with you, I know this will impact the summer 4 wheeler season and in this economy it will be a terrible blow for the area. I hope things get cleaned up quickly and roads get repaired.
I hope that the Grace of God showers you all as heavily as the rains did.

Cody-
Thank you for the vivid yet tragic images. We retired to Tennessee a few years ago, but we still have family and friends in Gilbert, Hanover, and North Spring. How awful it must be to face the clean-up and rebuilding. Our thoughts and prayers are with all who face this daunting challenge. Good choice of music--It is only by the grace of God that the losses were of property, not of life. Try to keep your positive attitude.

Putting the music to the pictures really adds a dramatic effect. Great job. Great choice of pics and music. Tragic situation. I grew up in Bradshaw (McDowell County) now live in Greensboro NC.

The pictures and music was a wonderful thing to do. Just from telling others what you have seen, could not even begin to scratch the surface, unless they could see it first hand, this helps those who weren't there have a better understanding.
I had just been through the areas going to hospital on Friday. Coming back home on Sunday evening, my heart was so full of sadness, I cried. Have traveled through it several times again since, my heart and prayers goes out to all affected and thankful it wasn't worse with loss of lives. I understand the fire departments helped too with that situation, going by homes, sounding their sirens, waking people up, this was great.
This is a super nice place with very prideful people who will be back on top of things, with Gods grace.

Thoughts and Prayers for all who are there.
I haven't seen footage like this since I left home in the Pacific Northwest where the Cascade Mountain range feeds all the storms straight down to the flat farming areas. Truely feel for all those there. Positive thoughts and prayers to you all !

This video was beautifully done, & gives such a good idea to outsiders, of the extent of the damage in Gilbert, Mingo, & Wyoming counties. I just returned from being stationed there with the American Red Cross. God bless the people as they recover. A special hello to the staff of Wallys, Mr. Harless, for allowing the mining staff to tend to their community, & the Joe Harless Community Center, for giving us space to manage our relief activities. A very special thanks to Horsepen Baptist Church, for their feeding services, invitation to attend their Sunday service, & the Southern Baptists for their cleaning & "mudding" services, & extensive cooking operations.
