Glasgow Airport and much of the central belt of Scotland was literally marooned in snow today as the weather snakes its way around the UK and now other parts of Europe.
Runways, clearways and machinery was covered in snow and ice, making operations impossible.
With Edinburgh Airport closed to air traffic, Glasgow is also closed, other airports closed include Dundee, Inverness, Kirkwall and Campbeltown.
