Whilst not nearly as dramatic as its neighbour in the Lauterbrunnen Valley, the Trummelbach, the Gletscherschlucht (or Glacier Gorge) is nevertheless an impressive place.
A narrow gangway has been built along the side of the gorge carved out by the melt waters of the Lower Grindelwald Glacier connecting a series of paths and tunnels leading ever deeper into the gorge until you come to ... a gate.

Gletscherschlucht is an impressive place, and would have been further impressive had it not been for the almost dry gorge. We entered the pathway expecting to see the gorge with a decent flow, but it was not to be.
The color of the rock surfaces, changing based on light reflections inside the gorge is a beautiful phenomenon.
