Edible (Rana esculenta) or Pool (R. lessonae) Frog in a grazing marsh ditch at Les Marais de l'Elle, Parc naturel régional des Marais du Contentin et du Bessin, Normandy, France, last June.
Can anyone confirm which species of 'green frog' it is (I'm assuming it's not Marsh Frog, R. ridibunda, based on distribution). They're difficult to separate and I'm not familiar with them (only Common Frog, R. temporia, is common in England, though the green frogs occur very locally as introductions or possibly rare natives)!
