This is one of my favorite photographs and I'm glad to see that through it I can strike an interest. All I really know about gray wolves and the endangered species list is that they were once on it and, from reading the article, that they might be put back on it. I'm not sure how serious the situation really is. If it is serious then yeah protect them. If not, let them live without our help. Thats about all I know to say.
