Mexico Earthquake Kills at Least 3

An earthquake measuring 6.5 in magnitude struck Guerrero, Mexico at 7:47am local time on December 10, 2011. At least 3 people have been killed. The quake was felt in nearby Mexico City, causing power outages.

The Mexico earthquake was originally reported as measuring 6.8, but has since been downgraded.

The quake was felt in nine different states, causing panic in locals and tourists from Acapulco to Ciudad Mexico.
