This was the coolest souvenir shop on the Seawall with a pier on each side. Now only the middle remains.
What should have been Hooters would be off to the right and in view from this angle.

all i can really say is wow, i walked through this store and now to see it destroyed not long after putting the additional middle piece on just kills me, the giant clams at the front of the store always amazed me that they were real now theyre gone. i used to take great vacations here now what i saw befor is gone, i really feel bad for the people whose house were destroyed and i hope gor the best of luck on rebuilding the city.

I am so saddened by this beautiful place being destroyed. My family had to be in Galveston for my 23yr. son to have open heart surgery for the second time. We came within 5minutes of losing him. When my husband and I finally got the news that he was going to be ok, we left to go get some rest and let all the stress out. We ended up at Murdock;s and enjoyed ourselves just looking out at the sea and watching the seagulls and other birds. I sure wish them the best of luck in rebuilding this great place.
