This Sunday night in Los Cabos the effects of Hurricane “Jimena” still not perceived. The activities of the population have a normal pace and in shops and gas stations are not seen crowds.
There have been no rains related to "Jimena", although the cloudy sky persist.
Only in a few neighborhoods of San Jose and Cabo San Lucas, families remove excess branches in the trees of their homes.
Although travel agents report cancellations, hotel occupancy currently in this area remains at 50 percent, according to tourism office.
The international airport is operating normally. Is expected that Cabo San Lucas port remains closed to navigation by possible increase in the waves. For this Monday it was expected the arrival of the Carnival Elation cruise from San Diego, which was canceled.
In the city port of Cabo San Lucas 17 schools have been enabled as shelters for people living in the 13 areas identified as high risk.
The Civil Protection authorities may especially careful with over 20 thousand families living in areas of stream, both in Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo.

I have family staying at the Pueblo Bonito Pacific there, they were unable to fly out today. How much danger do you think they are in in that location?

I stayed there in June. It's up on a hillside on the western side of Cabo. It's a well built structure in a protected area . They should be ok.
