Hurricane Katia: Storm Swell Hazard to US
Hurricane Katia has reached Category Three strength as predicted, and is moving north across the Atlantic. Katia's projected path takes it west of Bermuda.

Katia is carrying sustained winds of 115mph, and is a danger to shipping. Also, storm swells currents generated by Hurricane Katia could be dangerous to the Florida and Georgia coasts, as well as to Bermuda and the Greater Antilles.
Bermuda is watching the storm closely, in case it deviates from its projected path.
