So I abandoned my car in the US for a bike. I thought I was free from all of the displeasures of owning an automobile. For the most, I am. No insurance, no buying gas, I'm doing something not too bad for my body but I did not escape playing the parking game.

This is my battlefield. Shonai City Bicycle Park. It has a 2 story building plus this lot. I found that I can get parking on the 2nd story pretty often since most people that use it are old and pushing a bike up to the 2nd floor of the building is not easy.

Plus it's covered; nice when the weather isn't so great.
