Irene Spares Flushing

My 4th floor apartment ceiling is leaking, just like it did a year ago with a heavy rain/wind event.  I never believed the Super who said that the problem was fixed.  As with Katrina, it wasn't the wind but the water that did all the damage.  I was happy to see former FEMA Chief Chertoff on CNN letting us know he's not in charge.  Also happy to see big gov'ment taking care of people and property, as it should.  Heard unconfirmed report that Congressman Rand Paul was on the front line with NJ Governor Christie denying help to those who didn't pay special assessments for flood protection.  Can't be true.
