Japan Earthquake Nov 23, 2011: Felt in Tokyo

Fukushima Earthquake Measures 5.9; No Tsunami Warning

An earthquake measuring 5.9 in magnitude struck off the coast of Japan. The quake's epicenter was 62 miles from Fukushima, near the stricken Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant. The November 23 Japan earthquake has not resulted in a tsunami warning.

The quake was felt in Tokyo, and was originally reported as measuring 6.1 in magnitude.
