Whales  and Manatees need our help. Since Jaxport has allowed Larger Ships to enter the Narrow St. Johns River There were  337 Manatee deaths  whales in jacksonville. last year,  Jaxport has failed to reduce its speed ,Monitor its wake when transiting the Channel. The size of some of these ships along leave barely enough room to pass without huging the banks of the river causing a vast suction leaving no room for any  size of whale of Manatee's to escape causing severe trama and Death.
We have to do something to help these whales and Manatees before Jaxport runs amok allowing  foreign flaged ships to disregard its speed while entering the narrow channel.

Reasoning, diplomacy and direct action and calls to the Captain of the Port,The City Council, and your local representives may change the way the Port does its business, Especially  when Jaxport through its tenants  have all failed to stop the needless deaths  so far. Jaxport interests that control these Foreign Flaged Ships entering Jacksonville simply ignore all critics.

But, we can’t give up now. We have to limit the number of ships that enter the channel at one time and  keep pressuring Jaxport ,our leaders until the whales and Manatees  are saved.
