This is one of the slum territories of Kathmandu along the bank of Bagmati river. Approximately 20 000 people are living in slums in the capital of Nepal. Some have simple houses made by bricks but many have nothing more than ramshackle shelters.

The picture taken is appreciated. It shows the population pressure and poverty may be in some cases wish to grab land, where the value of land is even comparable to the capital cities of developed countries. May be this, but the reality is that people are in Kathmadnu to have employment or frustration of rural poverty and landslides, flood, and even political conflicts.
This issue will not stop here, unless gover.nment starts doing projects to create situation where people can apply for their living within their paying capacity, may be in the long run
