We tend to think that exotic adventures have to take place in far away, unfamiliar places.
Have we forgotten that even the big cities can offer surprises?
Paul Croughton brings this point home with How to paddle through London (Times Online UK, September 7).
His take on the venture: "It’s therapy, but not as you know it. Kayaking in the capital is good for the soul".
