Killer whales (Orcas) making news in the UK by travel_photography

Two Orcas (Killer Whales) spyhopping to check out what is above the surface. This picture was taken on a whale watching tour off the Northern Vancouver Island coast in British Columbia, Canada. These two orcas belong to the so called Northern Resident Killer Whales which are known for only eat fish and NO other marine mammals. The Orcas which enjoy the taste of a crisp sea lion, a nice dolphin or even another whale are called "transient killer whales" - mainly because they travel a lot.
