Ever seen a lady bug nest?

Well, picture not just one nest, but an entire hill side, about 30 ft high by 100 ft long filled with these nests. Literally swarms of them flying around!

I saw 2 such hill sides on my hike the other day along a mountain stream in Mt Baldy. It was the first time I was in a swarm of bugs and happy to have them landing on me.
