Laguna Beach Streets Closed: Flooding In Laguna Beach Downtown

Heavy rains in Southern California have triggered flash flooding in many pockets of the Los Angeles and San Diego areas.

In Laguna Beach all the streets downtown have been closed because of flooding. Besides the streets in downtown Laguna Beach the following streets have also been closed

Laguna Canyon Road between Forest Avenue
State Route 73
PCH between Aster Street and Legion Street are also closed.

According to Lt. Jason Kravetz of the Laguna Beach Police Department, downtown Laguna Beach is under several feet of water, adding that those who work in the downtown area should not attempt to go to work.

"Please don't come to work today. You're not going to be able to make it in," he said.
