Loggerhead turtles returned to the sea

It's rare to find loggerhead turtles on UK beaches and when we do they are almost always dead or dying, their shells badly broken up on the South West's rocky shoreline. These two were survivors - a teenage turtle and one still in childhood - great to see that after loving care they have been released back into the wild.
Two loggerhead turtles which were washed up on beaches in Devon and Cornwall have been released back into the sea in the Canary Islands.
James and Dink are the only survivors of the 23 loggerheads which have been stranded on British and Irish coasts this year, an unprecedented number.

LotusFlower, I like this story. It's good stuff. It's some good news, bad news. Are there more turtles because of the warming of the oceans?
