A 3.7 Magnitude Earthquake Struck Near Long Beach California on Friday November 5

It was originally recorded to be a 3.8 magnitude earthquake but has been downgraded to a 3.7.

According to the United States Geological Survey, the earthquake hit at 9:06 am local time, at a location about 25 km west of Santa Ana, 30 km west-northwest of Irvine, and 615 km south-southeast of Sacramento.

ABC7 reports that residents in Compton, Cerritos and Long Beach reported shaking, but no reports of any damage or injuries have been recorded.
