Long Beach Flooding After California Tornado Warnings
In Long Beach California there is some heavy flooding today after the California tornado warnings issued earlier for various parts of Orange County, San Diego, Huntington Beach and Los Angeles.
Parts of California experienced wind gusts of up to 90 miles per hour today, and Long Beach saw heavy rainfall and thunderstorms, leading to some heavy flooding in the area.
On Roswell Avenue and 10th Street, residents are reporting chest high flooding, with some cars being swept down the street and garbage being floated everywhere.
There is a coastal flood advisory in effect until 6pm PST tonight and a high surf advisory in effect until 11pm PST Friday.
The current weather report for Long Beach area shows cloudy weather with win gusts up to 27 miles per hour, but for the next several days the forecast includes a strong chance for more rain and thunderstorms.
Even worse weather is expected for Wednesday with a brand new storm, and Friday has a 60% chance for rain.

Not the last we'll see of this wild weather in 2010. More is to come. It's going to be a wild ride this year in California.
