The fire has burned 925 acres and on Tuesday morning was 20 to 25 percent contained.

Jim Thomas, head of the Type I fire incident team, said "the next 36 hours are critical" on Tuesday morning. He said the fire didn't grow overnight and no new evacuations are expected on Tuesday, but evacuated residents are still not being allowed in their home at this point.

There may be charges filed for starting the fire, which has destroyed two homes so far and a number of other structures have been destroyed or damaged.

Evacuation orders are still in place for any homes in a four-mile radius of the Pinewood Reservoir and homes in the Saddlenotch areas.

Due to the difficult terrain and steep mountainside, the fire is proving difficult to get under control, but crews hope to make some progress on Tuesday.
