In big contrast concerning the sizes of the animals involved here a form of abuse on smaller scale: the sales of "luck and happiness" by giving one of these tiny birds which are belonging in the forests and rural areas their freedom again. The small birds are packed together in the tiny cages and he is carrying his entire stock in the cage on his back.
As birds cannot fly and navigate well in the dark they are lost when "freed" and the ones surviving cannot go back to their usual habitat. Once I witnessed a bird being freed landing of course 50 meters further in the middle of a busy road in between the heavy traffic.

Don't buy these poor creatures, it is not bringing hapiness, either to the birds nor to you!

Well said!  People really fall for "freeing" the birds.
