Another major storm heading for the northeast of the United States

This storm is expected to last from Wednesday night until Friday and due to blizzard conditions and heavy rain and wind will cause many flight delays and travel problems. Keep checking the FAA website for updates on airports.

The areas that are expected to be hardest hit include Washington, New York, Philadelphia and Pennsylvania, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. The heavy snow will mix with strong winds and create blizzard conditions and power outages.

Connecticut to Massachusetts will also be hit with heavy wet snow that will also cause power outages, and some areas already have no power.

Another storm was bringing heavy, wet snow Wednesday morning from Connecticut to Massachusetts. The National Weather Service predicted the weight of the snow would bring down tree limbs and power lines, causing scattered power outages.

Even parts of Texas is dealing with up to four inches of snow.

Thanks for this, Amy! The snow is supposed to start falling around 7:00 am -- it's 6:31 am now -- I'm waiting:)! Even though, as of 12:30 am, no winter weather storm watch has been issued for Buffalo.

I don't see a single flake so far, except a few congressional representatives on their way to work. There is Dennis Kucinich. I thought that he splept in his office. Must have gone out for an early breakfast.

It's tapping on our door here in Toronto this morning.

Wonder if we'll get enough to make a snowman?
