7.0-Magnitude Earthquake Hits Mexico
A powerful earthquake hit Mexico's Pacific coast on April 11, 2012. The quake, measuring 7.0 in magnitude, struck at 5:55pm PT near Lazaro Cardenas, in the Mexican state of Michoacan.
So far, no major damage is reported in the Mexico quake. Only a few hours earlier, a quake measuring 5.9 in magnitude struck off the Oregon coast.
