Michelle Obama is set to appear on the season debut of Sesame Street on November 10th, which will be the 40th anniversary and she will be encouraging kids to eat healthy and plant gardens. The Obamas have a fruit and vegetable garden in the grounds of the White House, and Michelle Obama will talk to the residents about the benefits of growing a garden and about eating healthy and how to plant vegetables.

"All these seeds need to grow are sun, soil and water. If you eat these healthy foods, you're going to grow up to be big and strong, like me," Obama says.

"I know you're going to like these vegetables, because in addition to being healthy, they really taste great!"

Sesame Street will highlight a two-year segment called 'My World is Green and Growing', and the producers felt that Michelle Obama was perfect to showcase that kind of living.

Other celebrities to appear this season include Cameron Diaz, Eva Longoria-Parker, Kobe Bryant and Ricky Gervais.

That's great. We had Capt. Bob when I was a kid, who was followed by Major Mudd. Nothing against Capt. Bob, but First Lady Michelle Obama would knock his socks off. I am happy that Sesame Street is still happening.

Good stuff!  She's been on Sesame Street before, promoting healthy living.
