Minot, North Dakota Flooding Surpasses 1881 Record

The flooding in Minot, North Dakota has swamped many parts of the city as the Souris River reaches record flood levels. The Minot flooding is worse than expected, with some areas under five feet of water.

Those who do not live in the Minot evacuation zones are told to move their belongings as high up in their homes as possible.

Amtrak canceled service through North Dakota, as the tracks are flooded.
