Monitor dragon

Monitor lizard flicking its tongue on Pulau Tiga, near Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

It's tongue is really huge; the lizard itself is already 50-60cm in height.
They are easy to spot: all the lizards show up behind the main kitchen of Pulau Tiga "resort" (the original "Survivor show" location as they proudly proclaim) at 11 am, when the meals are prepared.
