Monkeys are very smart. They

can be trained to do many things.

They can also learn many things on

their own, by observing humans and

copying what they do. It seems this

monkey may have an over active

maternal instinct, maybe she is just

thinking the goats are funny looking

monkeys.

"

That's because Mani, the resident monkey, shepherds the goats- numbering 75- around the plantation. "She takes out the goats for grazing and brings them back. A shepherd is usually required to accompany the goats all day long and bring them back in these hills. But because of her, manpower can be spared. She is as good as a shepherd. The only thing is that she does not speak, but otherwise carries out all responsibilities."They say they feel confident that the goats will be safe when Mani accompanies them.

The video is amazing. Well, Monkeys and Human are close relatives after all.

It may be the first step in the next evolution since Humanity is not going to prevail the way we manage the Earth.
