Mount Redoubt has erupted again, and an ash cloud has been spewed 30,000 feet in to the air. The eruption happened at about 8:30am this morning, and it is expected that the winds will carry the ash to settle on the town of Homer.

Mount Redoubt started erupting late Sunday. Earlier eruptions were more explosive, sending ash up to 60,000 feet.

This is about the eight time that the volcano has erupted.
